Now that my OC Contest is finally over I have some important things to talk about, some of which may or may not interest you but I will talk about them anyway.
This is more or less an advertisement journal of things currently happening in the community and what I have owed, a promise is a promise!
Literary Compass Story Scouting!The first order of business and I am rather excited to pronounce is that I am now a Story Scout for
LiteraryCompass! My job there will be to help look for fictional story novels and story novel series around deviantART for consideration to be featured in the Compass. I will also act as a liaison between the founder and possible authors. So if you feel a bit nervous self-suggesting yourself, you may want to talk to me. I can give you more information, answer questions, and can suggest a piece for you, as well!
At
LiteraryCompass we are still in need of many stories to feature. Note that features must be an established work with a substantial amount of content available. Please review the FAQ to familiarize yourself with our criteria. Honestly, it's not very much, but we want to assure that the pieces featured are here to stay, not just WIPs which may or may not go anywhere.

The Visual Narrative Project!After receiving more than 100 scripts from more than seven different countries, film makers Meredith and Zev chose just a single script by Emilio Iasiello to be produced. THE DANCE, is a compelling story about a young couple experiencing a rough patch in their relationship, who stumble upon a yard sale where Hank, an elderly man, brings light to the danger of letting life tumble through one's hands.
The Visual Narrative Project is searching for donations and exposure, you can get points for helping out!

Relativity Valentine's Contest!This is

In celebration of Valentine's Day they are hosting a Relativity contest! Note, this theme is a bit different than their past contests, so be sure to read everything.
The theme is Romantic Love
Just what that means depends on you. Perhaps it's a shipping of two characters. Perhaps it's unrequited love where one side gives and the other doesn't reciprocate. Perhaps it's a tainted love that ends with screams and gunshots.
